Album Info:2006 Photos from CSX's Spartanburg sub. This line runs between Spartanburg and Greenwood (Parke Jct), SC. It is the former C&WC mainline, now CSX's AK Line. 2006 has been a year of big change for this line. Its seen track re-alignment in 2 locations, some CTC installation and bridge replacements. The infrastructure upgrades are long overdue for this line

Description:  He was following 3 northbounds up from Greenwood. He ended up having to take the siding at Ora whil} the others got to go on to Roebuck to meet a southbound. Its times like this when the Kilgore siding could really come in handy and its probably vhy CSX is upgrading it now! He ended up waiting here for a couple of hours before proceeding north
