Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide of a photo by David R. Sweetland that was taken in Altoona, Pennsylvania, in September of 1959. Shown here (R to L) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #8659, #8655, and #8670. All are AS-18AM's built by the American Locomotive Company and rated at 1,800 horsepower each. They were constructed as follows: #8659 in January of 1958, #8655 in December of 1957, and #8670 in March of 1958. Photo taken from Juniata's 8th Street Bridge. ("Stoneborobranch"; #5 of 19)
